One Shell Of A Wedding! : You & Me

Once we were on the road to our wedding reception, the gravity of the day sunk in. We had just gotten married - married! It was simply surreal.

For the first time since we'd arrived to Rhode Island we had a moment that truly felt our own.

After toasting our nuptials, Mr. Seashell asked me if I felt any different. We both agreed that the day felt huge - larger than us - and I watched my groom get misty eyed. Even seven months later, those quiet moments we shared in the car just after our wedding ceremony are among my favorite and most sentimental memories of the day.

We pulled up to the Glen Manor House and I tried to soak the moment in. We had arrived. As husband and wife we hopped out of the car and posed for photos by the vintage Rolls Royce.

We wrapped up photos by the car and got our first peek inside the venue. You're going to have to hang in there a little longer for those, but I just have to say it took my breath away. Seeing everything come together was just remarkable.

After getting a peek at the flowers, tables, cake, and details we ran upstairs for a photo in the window. What? You'll see.

(Can you spot the bride and groom? And while you're at it, feel free to notice my non-DIY fail floral letters!)

Finally, it was time to head outside and take in the gorgeous surroundings.

Up next: the photoshoot of a lifetime! (Yeah - there's more...)
